Joseph Harrison is a principal in Dye Harrison. Born and raised in Bradenton, he started his legal career as an associate with the Atlanta law firm of Glass, McCullough, Sherrill and Schafer. Mr. Harrison then moved back to Bradenton to join the law firm of Holland & Knight LLP in 1980. After spending five years there, he joined Harrison & Kirkland, P.A. in 1985, which is the predecessor to Dye Harrison, where he has remained since. He currently focuses his practice in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, and commercial lending.

Most notably Mr. Harrison served on the Board of Governors of the Florida Bar, Young Lawyers Division from 1988 to 1990. He also served as a member of the Florida Bar Association Grievance Committee for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit from 1987 to 1990. In addition to his public duties, Mr. Harrison has also been active in civic affairs and has served on the board of several charitable organizations.
